George Segal (1924–2000),
Walk, Don’t Walk, 1976. Plaster, cement, metal, painted wood, and electric light, 109 × 72 × 74 inches (276.9 × 182.9 × 188.9 cm) Whitney Museum of American Art, New York
This image is interesting to me because it is something that we see one a daily basis. We as human beings are always waiting. . . waiting. . . waiting--like statues for moments at a time.
